ATTN Garfield Freaks and Geeks
For any hardcore Garfield fanatics (esp. those who recall the short-lived "Pet Force" book series) who read this post, what are your thoughts on if they were to make a "Garfield's Pet Force" video game or maybe even a dvd special? With the late Lorenzo Music no longer with us, I know the second may be a little awkward, but possible if Bill Murray joined up. I mainly wonder because the series ended with a cliffhanger (Pet Force #5 Attack of the Lethal Lizards) and some kind of media wrap-up would be nice for closure. I suppose they could just make a 6th book that wraps up the storyline, but a video game or dvd special would be more fun. They could pick up where #5 left off. If it's a game, it could feature Pie-Rat, K-Niner, the Lethal Lizards, Dark Garzooka, Mutanator, and VetVix as bosses. And you could choose which PF member to play as each level, and Compooky and Sorceror Binky could show up with advice, tips, and items. A dvd could just have them defeating VetVix once and for all and saving Emperor Jon's universe. I think that would be cool and make a lotta unsatisfied PF fans happy. What say anyone else?
P.S. I noticed on IMDb that there was another Garfield vg recently released about him trying to save Pooky. I looked into it, but couldn't find any retailers selling it in the US. Anyone know how I could get ahold of it? I also saw a couple of others in addition to "Caught in the Act", but based on reviews to one and system console of the others something tells me attaining them wouldn't be worth the trouble. Any info would nice. Thanks
