I don't get it, why aren't there video releases for this series? They did that with the specials in the past, which makes sense that they're only on DVD now, but was this series ever on video before?

Is there any way to get the Garfield Birthday special?
"Why can't man be more like animals?"- Pink Panther
There were some videos of the series released here in the UK. I used to own two videos, one of which had the episode where Garfield grows to Godzilla size when he can't stop eating. Also, the UK release of the Christmas special had an episode on it, which was when Floyd the mouse first shows up. It had the Orson's Farm episode where Orson hypnotises Wade, who then lets the bull loose.
<Do you mean "Happy Birthday Garfield!" from 1988>
Yes, that's the one. I hear it's mainly clips from the shows (this one and the specials) along with interviews with Jim Davis. I would like to see it, I know it's on video according to the 25th anniversary book.

Yes, I know the other specials are on DVD, and I have all except for Feline Fantasies. I was just talking about the Birthday special. I guess they aren't putting it on DVD, as I haven't heard any plans on it now that they also have the final Garfield and Friends Volume out.
Well the picture set up for garfield and friends on imdb has writing on it that says "volume one" i assume that the picture was taken from a garfield and friends season one dvd
