McMurphy & Dodger
I finally found the episode called Quest from season 4. I know McMurphy was one of the most messed up characters internally, but he really loved her and she should have tried to work it out. They'd both had similar experiences. I think this episode bothers me the most because after that she becomes so cold and detached from everyone. Even her future husband doesn't know the extent of her mental anguish.
