Rewatching for the first time

I watched seasons two and three when it originally ran back in the late 80's. I was still elementary school at the time. I didn't always understand what was going on but I knew I liked the show back then. I remember watching The Wonder Years thinking how awesome it would be if the PE teacher would start talking about being a surgeon in Vietnam.
I just purchased the complete series and am about halfway through it and I love it more now then back then. Something I remember about the show was how abrupt each episode would end and I realize now that my assumptions then were spot on. I don't care, what a great show! TV show dramas this good don't come around very often!
