Similarities Between 3 O'Clock High + Back To The Future

The final punch by Jerry Mitchell against Buddy Ruvell is strangely similar to George's punching out of Biff. Close up on the cocked fist, swing, and staggering bully before the bully hits the ground.

Both movies produced by Steven Speilberg.

Anyone else notice the similarities?

casey siemaszko who played 3-D in BTTF, plays the lead in this film

Back to the future???

More like the beginning of Spider Man.

Little geek (who really looks like Tobby....It's kinda scary) and who has been a reject and he's trying to get that popular girl. And he kicks the jerk's a$$.

I mean, if tobby had played this role, I doubt there would be a big difference in the movie...

Here's another you didn't even mention. Casey Siemsasko, who played Jerry, was 3D in Back to the Future and came back for Part 2.

The similarity is that Jerry is a massive look-alike for Michael J. Fox. He even sounds exactly like him.

No! MJF is waaaaaayyyyyy cuter than Jerry!

Some similarities.

- both movies start with the sound of clocks ticking

- both revolve around a certain "time". 3pm in this one. 10:04pm in BTTF.

- In BTTFs opening scene, Marty is late for school. As is Jerry here.

- everyone falls silent when the bully appears. As they did in BTTF when Biff enters the cafe.

- bookshelves falling down like dominoes after a punch is similar to Biff's goons falling down like dominoes after Marty punches one of them in the cafe.

That's what I can recall from memory! There may be more.

Check out the connections between the Back to the Future trilogy, Three O'Clock High, Gremlins, The Goonies, Stand by Me, and the episode of Spielberg's Amazing Stories, titled "The Mission", which Spielberg also directed. Man, they're endless.
