There is the gag in Spaceballs where President Skroob is breathing canned air as a last resort. Unfortunately that reality has come true on Earth...

Hahahaha yep, I never would have thought it possible till I saw it on the news, and I said, "Holy crap! It's Spaceballs but for REAL!" 

Mel Brooks has become another TV Nostradamus.
