C'mon Fox. Release this anamorphically on DVD!!

Fox has repackaged this title in numerous ways, but can't come up with an anamorphic widescreen transfer. I don't mind about the 5.1 audio, but without anamorphic, it's almost a waste of your money purchasing this fine film on DVD.
If the movie wasn't so good, it WOULD be a waste.

However, after 11 years, I'm tired of waiting for the anamorphic transfer.

Hello,

I know it has been almost 6 months since your post but I just saw it as I was watching Raising Arizona just now and came on imdb to check a few facts.

Could you please tell me what kind of transfer is currently available for this movie, and in what way an "anamorphic widescreen transfer" would be better?

Just curious. Thanks.
