Nicolas Cage = Worst actor ever

now let me begin to say that i liked this movie. But it had a lot of potential that was destroyed by the horrendous actor, Nicolas Cage. Nicolas Cage has been in only one good movie, and he was horrible in it. (I'm talking about this movie.)

I agree about being one of the worst actors ever. However, "Raising Arizona" and "Adaptation" are the only movies I've seen with him in that I thought he was very good in. My brothers really liked "Wild at Heart", but I thought he ruined it.

A little bit of a stretch, there. Granted, he's far down the talent list, but I've seen many worse.

But in this role, unlike any of his others, he actually does well. It plays into his "strengths" -- sort of a broad comedy.

The best shows deserve our loud and vocal praise, directed at those that can make a difference.

Was he a bad actor when he won Best Actor at the Oscars and Golden Globes?

"Bltch, what you DON'T know about me -- I can just about squeeze into the Grand xxxxing Canyon!"

Credit where credit is due and I think he was great in this movie. Mind you the rest of the cast was really good too.

I describe him as an actor that is so bad that I like him. I've always liked this description but every so often he pulls out a great performance that makes me question it. This is definitely one of them, I only watched it for Nic Cage too.
My favourite performance of his is Big Daddy in 'Kick-Ass' because every part of that is added together should make it fail. I found out he used Adam West's Batman as inspiration... How can you create a create a good performance whilst being inspired by Adam West's Batman?!
Overall though I think it is just one of those things where when he finds a role that suits his style then it works out really well and HI fit his style perfectly. The entire sequence at the start with the multiple arrests and mug shots is brilliant. He flares up in every role whether it fits or not but it certainly did here.

"God, when I meet you, I'm gonna be pretty. If it's the last thing I do. I'll be a beautiful angel."
