Homage to "Seven Beauties"
The scene where the hit man walks down the stairs into the nightclub to kill the club owner sitting with Mia Farrow is awfully similar to an iconic scene from "Seven Beauties" in which Giancarlo Giannini makes his entrance into a nightclub. Homage or my imagination?
