the taunting of Pelle

the ones that talk about "excessive nudity", "abuse" and concerns(haha) do not know what they are talking about you are only political correct fools..
first of all, in scandinavia(perhaps most other places than the US) we rather show and expose our children too nudity than show them people who shoot the faces out of eachother.
second, what they did to Pelle has something to do with old nordic tradition, partly. It was done to show the women on the farm that Pelle had reached puberty(so he should have been a bit older) and was ready for sex. The men checked this before exposing him. This was in his own interest but the whipping was only cruelty..
also nudity among children is not unusual.. perhaps more usual on the old days, but the way Pelle walks around with loose pants, dragging them on after he wakes up etc is natural and normal. The ones who dont see this is kinda brainwashed of the "modern" society.. especially you americans...
i think about you that you are not ordinary human beings but consumers and only consumers..(not that nor I or you want it to be like that) to live for you is to consume and if you have no money to consume with you have noe life. you are consumers that live in a giant mall and cant do anything but follow the rules of the "shopkeepers". this is so usual to you that you cant see beyond it. you are no longer natural humans.

I actually think that scene was pretty disturbing...some pretty harsh *beep* going on. And really, lets blame the religious right for all the freaking out about nudity in films and TV.

Who was the ad wizard who came up with this one?
