Beating
I have one question about PELLE THE CONQUEROR-- WHY DID PELLE BEAT THAT BOY? I have watched it three times and I still don't know he beat that boy.
Maybe one of you could share some light.

You mean the boy who offered to get beaten to get Pelle's coin? Pelle was bullied and felt powerless. He beat the boy to get a sense of power.
There was another boy Pelle beat because he said something bad about Pelle's father. Don't remember exactly what it was, but it had something to do with Pelle's dad being together with a woman who was already married.

I thought that might be the reason for the beatings. Okay now what happened to that mean guy who got cut? I think i know, but what do you say? That was one good movie. And there really wasn't that much nudity.
