So Farrell would have had to have been older than he 'was' . . .


Not a big deal, but just curious. Since he's Yuri, it's not as if the KGB would have sent him over right at the age of 18, all primed and ready to go right into college here in the US. He would have had to have gone to the KGB spy school, or whatever, in Russia, unless he grew up in a community of English-speaking Russians, as depicted in the silly but fun John Travolta movie, The Experts. But barring that remote possibility, that would take at least a couple of years of training, to make sure he got all his Americanisms right, etc., don't you think?

They often picked prospects for various important positions as early as age ten or below (consider their possible Olympians). I assumed they sent him over earlier so he could have the educational background to streamline right into an Officer's Position. This was reinforced by the amount of years since he "heard" his mother tongue
