Jaws 3 was way worse

That movie was without a doubt, the worst of the series. It didn't even feel like a Jaws movie and it was just so bad. I'd rather go on the Jaws ride at Universal Studios than watch that movie again. No, I'd rather watch the Jaws parody in Ace Ventura than watch Jaws 3 again. Jaws 4 is a bad movie, but I've seen it more than once. Jaws 3, I watched once and once was more than enough.

I actually ended up seeing Jaws: The Revenge before Jaws 3 and was surprised by how watchable it was. Yes, it is bad but the characters are still likable and it was at least enjoyably bad.

Jaws 3, on the other hand, you would expect to be a lot of fun. A shark getting caught in Sea World and eating people left and right? That sounds entertaining as hell whether the special effects are terrible or not, but somehow it ended up completely boring me from beginning to end. It's just too bad.

You and I seem to be totally on opposite sides regarding this brah.

I think Revenge is the worst and part 3 is my second favorite after the original. I thought part 3 was a lot of fun until the last 15 minutes when it went to hell.

Very good. But brick not hit back!

I saw it theatrically with the 3-D glasses, and the effects stank. Worse, even the color and the image clarity were beyond abysmal. The film quality was reminiscent of scratchy old WW II footage in some places, as if the film had been run through the desaturation ringers and left to dry in a fly-infested, sun-scorched place. Then I saw it on DVD - with no improvement. Just a badly written, photographed, and produced stinkeroo, whose shark was feeble - so feeble that I almost felt bad at laughing at it... after all, it wasn't the poor mechanical fish's fault, but rather its creators.

For a "major motion picture" produced by a major studio... shockingly degenerate.

OP is without a doubt correct, this movie didn't feel anything like a Jaws film aside from a shark.

Even the opening credits are terribly put together and thats just text on the screen. The shark actually has some sort of mental connection with Ellen Brody which is laughable, it swims from Amity to the island in no time. Had they just kept the setting in Amity im sure the movie would atleast be watchable.

The best performance in this film is Roy Scheider, and its only a shot of a framed photo of him.

WHAT.....ARE YOU ****ING INSANE. YOU MUST BE THE BIGGEST MOST IGNORANT BOOB EVER IF YOU THINK THAT JAWS 3 IS WORSE THAN THE ABJECT DISASTER THAT WAS JAWS 4!!!

Nah. I'm just kidding. I just find it hilarious that people do actually fight over which of these two turkeys was worse. They were both surely at the bottom of the barrel.

My honest feelings are that while I believe Jaws 4 to be the 'worse' film on conventional filmmaking aspects, I also find it the more entertaining to watch. It does have a bit more of a 'campy' quality than 3 had. 3 was just about as 'bad' a movie as 4 was, but it was also completely devoid of 'charm' if you can call it that. It was just dull and boring and I can find no reason to subject myself to its awfulness. It was a slightly 'better' movie, but still so bad that there is no reason at all to watch it. Jaws 4 takes a VERY slight edge in the entertainment factor in that 'it's so bad it's good' kind of way.
