Questions about references to other Jaws films

1. Is Mrs. Kintner the one who says "Thea I didn't recognize you, you so grown up!"? Is Mrs. Taft the woman standing next to her? Not sure why the two women were at the Brody house. Mrs. Kintner hates Brody for Alex's death and slapped him and Mrs. Taft was against Brody for shutting down the beaches in Jaws 1 and was in favor of firing him in Jaws 2.
2. During the ferry scene, you can see the lighthouse in the background. Is that the same lighthouse by Cable Junction from Jaws 2? Is that scene a reference to Jaws 2?
3. At the end of ferry scene it shows a piece of wood washed up ashore. Is that the same one the shark from Jaws 2 bit into and got electrocuted with?
4. Why is a portrait of Martin Brody on the wall? I thought the town fired him in Jaws 2.
5. What do you think happened to Mayor Larry Vaughn and Deputy Hendricks (Jaws 1 and 2) and Len Peterson (Jaws 2)?
6. What do you think happened to Katherine Morgan and Kelly from Jaws 3? They are replaced by Carla and Tiffany respectively.
7. Is the house that Ellen and Sean live in the same one from Jaws 1 and 2?
8. Any other references to previous films I missed?

The piece of wood that washed ashore was whay sean was holding onto at the beginning of the movie when he was being dragged under. The cable the shark bit in jaws two was not wood

Supposedly, Jaws 3 is not considered canonical.

Universal omits Jaws 3-D, referring to Jaws: The Revenge as the "third film in the remarkable Jaws trilogy". I guess after Jaws 3-D's critical disappointment, Jaws: The Revenge was the studio's attempt to make up for their mistakes and revitalize the franchise, the result is a film so terrible that it makes Jaws 3-D almost watchable.

There’s only one event in the 4th film which contradict the 3rd; Mike Brody is a sea world engineer in J3 and a marine biologist in JTR. Sean was a student in the 3rd film. It’s likely why the film was subtitled ‘the revenge’ instead of given the number 4.

5. What do you think happened to Mayor Larry Vaughn and Deputy Hendricks (Jaws 1 and 2) and Len Peterson (Jaws 2)?

Mayor Vaughn passed away (the fear of it killed him too). ⚓😞

Henricks and Peterson moved to the mainland, very far inland, like Idaho or somewhere that great whites can't reach.

I think we've got another shark problem. 
