He went a little overboard with his Jack Nicholson impressions. Just saying.

I thought he was going more for Harrison Ford.

His performance is perfect as it was; if he was channeling Jack, then he out-Nicholsoned Nicholson. No-one can play cocky but likeable quite like Quaid.

I think it works. This movie is so over-the-top it has a certain charm to it. I love the villains. They are like cartoons or something. It reminds me of a comic book or old pulp story in some ways.

Quaid was perfect in this role. He was not doing Nicholson or Ford.
