Im on a John Cusack binge....So...

I figured this was gonna be a fairly lame 80s rom com but I was pleasantly caught by surprise.

This movie was totally awesome. John Cusack is cool as ever with his shaggy hair, his chick is hot, and he throws a *beep* machete at Ben Stiller....

I would never have imagined 80s Cusack as a rambo-esque machine gun toting bada**

"You think you can sail this boat, kid"
"I read Treasure Island right"
"You'll do"

Hot Pursuit made my day.

I am always on a John Cusack binge. I could watch his movies (preferably the romance/comedy ones) all day. I especially love Say Anything and The Sure Thing.

I saw this movie in the theater and it still holds-up well.

I, myself, wasn't expecting much out of this movie other than Cusack's performance. I initially thought this was going to be a forgettable comedy with no exciting moments whatsoever, but to my surprise, it turned out to be an entertaining movie filled with laughs, surprises, and all around fine performances. The characters Cusack meets and the situations he finds himself in = tons of fun to watch.
