he didnt want to put her in danger because he knew the mob was after him and would go to his family first to find him,this film should have been a hit, i love it, i even have the sound track.

I have the soundtrack too, a great mix of country, pop and dance tunes.
I think his avoidance of his aunt could have been explained better, especially when he was so willing to give his cousin the inside track. Oh well, it was a plot device, and this is an excellent film otherwise.
he was coming as Andrew Morenski, when he got the idea to disguise himself as Max he avoided his aunt because he knew she would recognize him...
