Leading ladies of the 80's...
I love watching 80's movies and seeing how natural and realistically they portrayed teenage girls. These days the supposedly teenage girls in movies (not to mention Disney shows) look a little too perfect to be believable - as in they all look as though they have a team of stylists working on them for an hour or two before they rock up to school with perfect hair and make up. The girl who played Ryan in this film was pretty, but she also looked normal, as though she had done her hair and make up herself and she had a bit more of the 'girl-next-door' look about her. I like it!
