I just bought this movie for $2! What a great find. I loved Jon from 'Pretty in pink' and so I decieded to buy the movie! I didn't know it was hard to find until now.
I hate it when they don't re-release hard to find movies. It seriously does suck!
Did you happen to find it locally, or over the Internet? I only ask because, like most sane people, I'm not too keen on spending $90 for a DVD. I had a copy that I bought in 2001, but while throwing a party, somebody decided to steal some rare DVD's out of my collection, "Hiding Out" being one of them.
DEG went bankrupt in the late 80's and then it became Carolco, which is now Screen Gems, and through a couple of phone calls I discovered that Hiding Out is not slated for re-release on DVD. With all that being said, I'd love to know if in fact you found it on the Internet, and would be VERY appreciative if you could point me in a direction other than Amazon and Ebay's $90 price tag? Thanks!
I locally bought 'Hiding out' on VHS. It was at a used video store I go to every now and then.
Im sorry, I do not know any way for you to actually buy the movie but you can rent in at Netflix.
