Any Sequel???
I think there was a sequel of this movie, but I can't remember. Am I wrong?

The sequel is not too bad. Theres a double feature of The Hidden 1 and 2. It's fantastic. Both films are in Original Widescreen presentation and special features - Trailers, Commentaries, The Making. Excellent DVD.
shareIt's a completely cheap and awful "sequel" with minimal action and a boring story. I still feel they should make a real sequel to this film.
shareI agree. I was so impresses by the first Hidden that I sought out the second and was hideously disappointed, I really tried to like it but just couldn't kid myself on that much.
Difficult to get the Hidden in Scotland it would appear.

Yes there was a direct sequel...The Hidden II that was originally made and broadcast on the SciFi Channel....sans the cursing and a few bits of extreme violence. I just ran the other night on HBO here in the US. Not bad but not as good as the first.
shareThe Hidden II picks up the story some 20 years later. The Tom Beck character (now infested with the alien) is getting old, the other alien managed to survive by being injested by a dog, and the two must now face off again. Beck's daughter is now fully grown, and comes to the fight with full vengance.
Not even in the same league as the Hidden, showing none of the style, research or plot lines which made the original such a classic.
Although they do come up with an interesting twist regarding the aliens, Beck's daughter (I thought anyway) knew something was up with her dad at the end of the first film. In most of the second film she is blissfully ignorant that her father is actually an alien.
I rented i about 10 years ago and it a absolutelly terrible. One of those diret-to-ideo jobs that just goes on and on with no real action scenes nd an't even afford to take the camera outside or anything. No matter how much you love the original, you don't need to see this.
