Please God! Help me out with my Question

I think that I might have seen this movie around the time that it came out, but I'm not sure. The main reason for my uncertainty is that I was 7 years old when this movie came out. The movie I am thinking of has this scene that I thought was really funny/cool when I was 7. It involved the alien villan (who loved listening to rock music) coming into contact with a record player. When he turned it on, it played this easy listening crap that had the lyrics, "I belive in sunshine, even through the rain. I belive in happiness, even through the pain." The song then gets cut off because the alien villan throws the record player against the wall in disgust. It was awesome. My question is, was that scene in this movie? If not, does anyone know what movie it was that I saw by chance? Any answer or help would be appreciated a lot.
