Yet another movie never released in the u.k.

It is the same old story,that here in the uk we get shafted royally when it comes to dvd releases. Again like the first Creepshow, the first Poltergeist,and now The Hidden,have still not had a dvd release in the U.K. While my friend,who has more money than me, had the film imported from the U.S nearly 5 years ago. Whats the problem here? We get endless direct to dvd rubbish that normally you would never go near, cluttering up our shops,and yet films we really want never get released. Take the Special Edition of Sin City, it will now get a dvd release here in the uk in August.9 months after its region one release. Here in the U.K. we get totally shafted. The same sorry story happens with the transfers of extra features and a DTS track. I have lost count how many movies have lost the DTS audio,when coming from region one to region 2. Its simple gives us respect and release The Hidden....NOW !
