I'd like to know the name of the song appearing just after the old man (with the alien inside) breaks into the car dealer's office, kills the dealer and the ferrari owner, and runs away with it. The song is what the old man is listening to in that moment. The singer is a girl.
I'm not sure the title but my recollection is that it is a Concrete Blonde song off their self titles album. The singer is Johnette Napolitano (spelling??) Hope that this helps.
I'm not sure which one specifically you're asking about, but there are a few Concrete Blonde tracks, including in the following scene where Christian is pulled over by cops and shoots up their car.
This is an amazing soundtrack, very sharp and occasionally uproarious! Great use of Hunters and Collectors!
It's "On Your Feet," by Shok Paris. Like so many other unexpectedly well done aspects of this movie, I can't tell if it's just the fact I wasn't expecting much, or what, but I really dug this song and tried to find it online, to no avail. Lemme know if you find it, though, it would be great to get a copy.
On Your Feet is the opening track with the black Ferrari 308, it's on the Steel & Starlight Album (long deleted) by Shok Paris, Concrete Blonde supply 3 tracks all off their self titled Album, I managed to get a copy of this the tracks are: Your Haunted Head, Still in Hollywood and Over Your Shoulder, the Hunters and Collectors track is Say Goodbye ("you don't make me feel like I'm a woman anymore").
Lately, I've been going back (through my memory banks) and buying songs from various online sources for my MP3 player and I remembered the soundtrack to The Hidden and how it rocked. From the many posts here about the music there are obviously many fellow appreciators of the soundtrack and the movie.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody could tell me specifically what song was the alien listening to when he was in that cafe having breakfast and blasting the boombox. In the scene, I just remember it was a fast rock song, and I think a female vocalist. Unfortunately, he cuts off the music to listen to that news broadcast.
I've been wondering what this song is as well. I can only conclude that is it ULI - Out Of Control (In My Car), but I can not find it online, or on vinyl, anyway. Not even a reference to it other than being connected to the film. It's not Shok Paris or Concrete Blonde.
