Did she always like s&m and frank caught on to this and made her secret fantasies become a reality or did Frank just turn her on and she was thrilled with her experience with him in comparison to what she gets from Larry lol. Larry does look useless in bed. My gut tells me Julia was always a whore and never got to find anyone in 'her class of aqquaintences' that could fulfill her fantasies and then all of a sudden Frank shows up and they can both Smell it off each other. I didn't read the book maybe I'm wrong and maybe it was just Frank who made Julia start to like what she never thought she would like.

I've always been sure Julia was content with what she had with Larry before Frank showed up. It's the way she composes herself in the flashbacks compared to the present. She's jovial, completely dedicated to Larry and genuinely frightened of Frank before she gives in to the urge. In the present, she's almost marble in terms of composition and feeling. She loved Larry, but she sold her soul and love for Frank's attention, hence the joke title one female executive gave the film: "What a Woman Will Do for a Good F * * k".

One thing I never understood is why Julia was freaking out when Frank was trying to kill Larry in the bedroom scene. At that point she seems to have turned to the bad side and starting to get a thrill out of killing the men she brought to Frank. An right after that, when Frank asked her for Larry blood, she flat out refuses to sacrifice Larry, and when Frank accuses her of loving him, she says that she dosent. Why? She seemed to not like anything about him so why spare him. They eventually do kill him, butthat was because they were desperate.

Sell your soul if you want good sex ! I think im starting to get it now Lmao. Yeah I think Dan hit the nail on the head, I think Julia to her surprise loved what Frank gave her and therefore cuckholded Larry. The way Julia looks when Larry is boxing in front of the tv is priceless, she is sick of Larry by that point I think , it's like " oh you *beep* pussy, you are not a real man! Frank's a real man !"
