I'm in the middle of a 're run and in the past I only watched the first 4 movies. I am willing to take the pain and pleasure further if at least butterball and chatterer return :) I hear kirsty makes an appearance in 6.

shareNone of them return exactly, but the chatterer concept is reused in the last four movies(five if you count Chatterbeast from Bloodline).
Inferno has a cenobite called Torso which looks like a pale, legless version of Chatterer. It wears no leather and has cuts all over its body which resemble the etchings in the Lament Configuration.
Hellseeker very briefly features a cenobite resembling Chatterer during Kirsty's reunion with Pinhead. It's actually a recycling of the Torso cenobite's mask in conjunction with the Pinhead costume. I'm sure the intention of the director was to have one of the other original cenobites be part of this reunion, but budget constraints prevented the makeup effects team from remaking the classic Chatterer costume from scratch.
In Deader and Hellworld, the Torso mask and Pinhead costume is used again, except this time the Torso mask is painted in the same orange/tan skin tone as the original Chatterer.
Revelations contains a female Chatterer cenobite with the wires tied into sort of a ponytail at the top of her head.

shareI could be wrong, because, it's some time, that I read the comics, but I think, the original Cenobites are featured in some of the comic books of Hellraiser. I know for sure, that the female Cenobite is, but I think, the others are there too.
Butterball has also a short appearance in the new novel by Barker, The Scarlet Gospel (at least I think, it is Butterball from the description).
Kirsty did return, but it was super-weak.
