Dont ever invite a vampire into your house, you silly boy. It renders you powerless.

Oh Jesus, is Rickrolling back?

When I went to see at midnight at New Beverly tonight, there were quite a few people who screamed bloody murder when the huge Jesus statue falls out when Kirsty's hiding from Frank.

I was watching this at work during my lunch hour with my head phones on and jumped and gasped during that scene! Holy crap! My coworker was probably confused. LOL

The scariest would be the maggot scene in H2 and the girl being skinned alive in H3

reply

Also Frank being taken to Hell at the opening of H1 was pretty creepy too with his body completely shredded to pieces(I can't imagine the suffering he went through) and pieces of his face laid out like a puzzle game!

Those ripping apart scenes are terrifying and disturbing. I have seen most of these movies and this franchise is the only horror that really gets too me.

reply

Yeah, it's very original and nothing has topped it since! It's a shame the later films weren't as good as the earlier films but even those had some fucked up shit in them. I really like the comics they made in the late 80's to mid 90's, very good stuff and very sick/twisted as well. The newer ones by Boom! comics are really good too. It still lives on in some form!

reply

Yes! Is this when he says "Jesus wept!"

The shot of characters walking up the stairs are kind of creepy with that natural lighting and older film look.

The scariest scenes: Julia encountering skinless Frank for the first time and during the storm when Frank is threatening to kill Larry.
