Julia and Kirsty

What exactly was the beef between the two.whatever it was, it seemed one sided with hostility coming from Kirsty. From the moment she arrives she starts going in on her on Julia. Julia, on her part seemed to bear no ill will on Kirsty and at worst (before all the killing) was indifferent of Kirsty. It's not like she didn't want Kirsty to live with them. But with all the eye rolling and behind the back talk it's no wonder there was no warm and fuzzy coming from Julia. It not as if Julia was always evil.

I disagree julia was plenty evil she just had a way of hiding it unlike frank who flaunted his evilness

I don't think she was evil initially, she became increasingly corrupted until diving into a point of no return. If she started out evil she would not have been so reluctant and disgusted with the men she brought home. Also, she refused to hand over Larry until she was forced to take action and by that time she was evil.

Well Julia cheated on Larry with his brother Frank before they even got married. Thats pretty screwed up and cruel, even if Larry never found out. She took very little motivation to immediately start bringing men home to Frank for him to kill.

I don't think it was a gradual descent at all. Frank shows up and she is bringing guys home the next day.

I still don't think she was evil, easy and a bit of a tramp, not evil. I never said she was good. I mean it is a movie, they couldn't spend a long time showing a skinless Frank trying to convince her. She was at least reluctant and disgusted in the beginning. A movie can only show so much and the scene of her casually wiping blood off herself was supposed to show that there was a change. Then they show her looking concerned and stricken, but then turned into a malevolent smirk. Why waste time showing that if it wasnt to highlight the fact that she was changing into something she wasnt before?
