funniest damn line in the movie

Adrian Cronauer: Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

i thought this was frickin hilarious, i laughed so hard at this scene

I always thought that Bruno Kirby gave the best performance in the movie. This was one of the smartest, funniest guys in the world, and he played a total jackass with such absolute conviction.

Another great line (from Bruno): "In my heart I know I'm funny."

Don't forget:
"It's nothing personal, the men just like Cronaur better than you"

Refusal to believe does not negate the truth.

My personal fave, "More dire need of a blow job than any white man on Earth."

reply

The Lieutenant - "Remember, just play normal modes of music, none of this wild stuff. Artists that would be considered acceptable are Perry Como, Jim Reeves, Andy Williams. Mantovani and certain lyrics by Mr Frank Sinatra."

Croneaur - "What about Percy Faith."

The Lieutenant - "Percy Faith, GOOD, THAT'S GOOD."

reply

Best is "I have never seen a man so large and muscular, who has absolutely no Penis *whack*"

Proper Funny

And of course: Goooooood MORNING Vietnaaam

I was just watching this movie. Lot of funny lines. Too many to choose just one, but I liked the one where Hes supposed to be taking a call:
What's your name?
(YELLING) BOB!
What do you do, Bob?
ARTILLERY!
What would you like to hear?
PLAY ANYTHING, JUST PLAY IT LOUD!
Cracks me up..

I love Lt. Steve. After all, the man lives to collate.

"Sir. In my heart I know I am funny."

And I always die laughing during that ridiculous routine he does about Lt. Steve and Frenchy. "Oh, Lt. Steve." "Oh, Frenchy." "Oh, Lt. Steve." Honk, honk. I can't say why I find that so funny. "I believe you all owe me an apology."
