Song? Robin Williams is singing with the shrimp heads on his fingers?

Is that a real song he is singing when he is at that restaurant and the owner or whatever says he thinks he has already drank to much beer...and he has all these shrimp heads on his finger tips trying to be funny..he starts singing something but i cant quite make it out...can someone tell me what it says...if it is a song he is mimicking could someone tell me the name and who it is by? thank you in advance!

The song he is singing is You Keep Me Hangin' On by The Supremes.

This is a goof as the movie takes place in 1965 and this song was not released until late 1966.

thanks i just looked up the lyrics and saw the kim wilde version from the 80s and thought it was a big goof on their part...then my senses came to me and i figured it was a cover.
