"How lovin' can you feel

when you got that moment when

Don't you know that the time

can be that away, warka-wack

And don't you know that it ain't gonna

Williams was doing an imitation of Al Jolson (older relatives with whom I've watched GMV seemed to recognize it immediately and footage I've seen of Jolson since then confirms it).

Al Jolson was a popular entertainer in the early 20th century. For those who may not be familiar, here's some more info:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Jolson

I wasn't able to identify the particular song that Williams was singing (when I Googled the lyrics you posted, all that came up were GMV references).

My guess is that probably it was a Jolson song, but Williams changed the lyrics a bit or did some ad-libbing (as he is known to do).

If I come across more info, I will post it here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, and have a great day.

Thank you for the information. I looked all over trying to match those lyrics but couldn't. I watched a lot of Al Jolson videos on youtube but could not figure out why Robin Williams would do that "wacka wacka wacka" noise. Was that to represent an instrument playing or a dance of his? Because I couldn't find a performance of him doing anything that resembled that "wacka wacka" noise. Let me know if you find anything. Thanks again.
