I don't know if anyone will be able to help, but can anyone tell me any specifics about the watch Cronauer (Robin Williams) wears in the movie?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes; the little hand designates the hour, and the big hand signifies the minute. The moving hand indicates the second. 

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!
