Delightful Cheesefest ~ small spoilers

What a Sunday afternoon treat! An old fashioned Western ~ updated with drug lords and cops gone bad.

It had everything: good guy and bad guy fighting over the same Mexican lass, evil dude, good dude, action scenes, decent plot, good cast ~ and not too deep.

It was engaging enough to keep me entertained, but I still felt ok to take a few "clean the kitchen" breaks.

lol ... oh yes ... I'm not a man!

Yes, Michael Ironside was great in this film. Good score, I agree ... and I always enjoy Powers Boothe and Rip Torn! Those two alone can compel me to watch a movie.

No confusion for me with the subplot.

My only complaint is that I had a busy day and didn't have the opportunity to give the movie all of my attention. I'm looking forward to watching it again ~ next time it comes on cable ... this time with popcorn!

Cheers!

I remember Siskel & Ebert complaining about the "confusing" subplot involving the six "officially dead" commandos in their otherwise positive reviews,

Those two twats are confused by any subplot that doesn't involve Al Pacino shouting "You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole trial is out of order! They're out of order!"

Bambi, why can't more women be like you?
