OUT ON DVD IN THE UK April 2010
Delighted to stumble across this in a shop the other day,never saw it reviewed anywhere.

Is the picture quality an improvement on the last edition?
shareI'm happy to say it is significantly better than the NTSC version.
Now I have a coby upconverting PAL to NTSC(vice versa) all region DVD player and a LCD TV with a 1080 HDMI capability. With both of them I can play a UK PAL DVD in PAL even to a NTSC LCD TV here in Canada(use the 1080 HDMI connection) in its native PAL TV resolution.
Comparing both I can say that the UK DVD version of Extreme Prejudice is a significant video improvement over the NTSC version. Better definition, color and brightness.
Anyways, its quite interesting as evem though I live in Canada, I find purchasing UK DVDs through Amazon.uk to be significantly cheaper even with the postage than buying it locally here in Canada(the HST, GST, PST taxes make it even worse)amd you get a better resolution with PAL than NTSC.
