After Johnny and Baby spent their first night together, Baby goes to Penny’s cabin to check on her. Johnny shows up and basically ignores her...well, is very distant. Do you get the feeling that he was initially going to try to make it a one night stand? Or was he simply fighting his feelings for her at this point?
shareMy guess it was a few things, but more likely, he was reacting to seeing Baby with Penny in the room with them. Penny immediately knew by both their faces that they had been together. You'll recall that after Baby checked on Penny and left the cabin, Johnny quickly tried to start a conversation but Penny cut him off and instead questioned his actions with Baby, and about he always told her not to get involved with the guests.
Secondly, I guess in the light of day, Johnny felt guilty about being with Baby.
