agreed. I'm surprised that the rating is this low.

The first story was actually my favorite in the movie. I didn't find it slow at all, but I'm not typically a fan of lightning paced action packed stories to be honest. I would've liked 5 stories, though. I agree on that part. This is one film I didn't want to end and that usually never happens. I wanted it to last forever because it was so good. It is one of my favorite horror sequels ever made and I agree that the low rating isn't warranted. It is just as good as the first film.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

I actually think it's better than the first. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I don't think the first is really any good. I only like ONE story from the first. I like all 3 alot from the 2nd.

reply

You're not alone! The 2nd one is more like a b-movie and that's why i actually enjoyed it more. All the stories seem to be written more delicately, as well. Let me guess btw, your favourite segment from the first Creepshow is "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill".

reply

What about Creepshow III? I didn't hate that one nearly as much as most did.

reply

I've just finished watching it. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the prequels other than it's name :P And the most important is, it's lacking of that comic book atmosphere.

reply

Oh, and Creepshow III was absolutely horrible scorpion. An ultra low budget mess. There's nothing good about it.

reply

Eh, I thought it was decent enough.

reply

Creepshow 2 is a joke. The only segment even worth watching is the last one. "Thanks for the ride, lady!" Otherwise, it's a disgrace compared to the original.

reply

Absolutely not. What exactly is so special about the first film? Calling its entertaining sequel a "disgrace" is absolutely hilarious considering the first film has mostly unoriginal and underdeveloped stories that feel like mediocre Tales from the Darkside episodes :/. At least the sequel has a nicely adapted segment titled "The Raft" that was based on the terrific short story by Stephen King.

reply

I've always enjoyed Creepshow 2. I give it a solid 8/10. Good stories. Good score/music. Good casting. It leaves you wanting more, which is a good thing.

reply
