The weakest episode of the whole series (part 1 &2) (spoilers)....

...has to be "Old Chief Woodenhead". It takes way too long to setup then luls when they are getting robbed then the climax is finished in mere moments. The only redeeming quality is Sam Whitemoon who entertains with his hilariously vain dialogue. The other thing I don't like is when Ben Whitemoon drives to the store, seemingly knowing that something bad occurred, but only speaks to old Chief Woodenhead, instead of tending to his dead friends inside. All in all, Creepshow 1 had much more style and fun to it.

I always thought that was odd. Just left the dead bodies in the store. He knew something had happened....

have to disagree - I think the short with the old guys and the bugs really just doesn't do it - more bizarre than creepy, and not scary at all

I'd say the weakest segment from both films would be "They're Creeping up on You" from the first movie. That one relied more on the gross out factor than actual scares.

My views fluctuate, so as of right now; the weakest for me is a tossup between The Lonesome Death of Jordy Vereill and Old Chief Wood'enhead.

The weakest segment for me was definitely "The Raft", I couldn't stand that one!
