The building Sam works at

Or more to the point, what real-world building did they use for the exterior shot? The one that is tiered and seems to be made with a reddish to brown stone or concrete(?) AND is shown at the beginning of the sequence where Sam's work buddies convince him to go to the Glu Glu Club with them.

Good question......my quess is it has to be a building in or near LA, because this was a low budget film, that was filmed primarily in the desert of Nevada and the studio in hollywood......

It's been a while since I saw the film. Might the building be the Goldfield Hotel in Nevada?

It used to be a factory; I believe a tire factory back in WW2. Today its the Citadel Outlet Mall 100 Citadel Drive, Suite 480 Los Angeles, CA 90040

Its between the 60 and 5 fwy just east of the 710 fwy. You can Google it if you want to get directions.

Thanks for the info(and all the help from others). Currently I don't have the resources to travel the US and visit sites used in some of my favorite movies but someday....
