sharelol.....probably jet propulsion of some sort would be my quess.
Lófaszt, nehogy már. Te vagy a Blade ... Blade Runner
that mustang was sexy!!...
shareJet propulsion wouldn't make the tires squeal. Jet engines don't power a driveline, they just propel hot gas out the back at a high rate of speed. What was really powering her Mustang was a stock engine and Hollywood Magic... ;-)

must have been a very small drive, as you can see uner the car when it's suspended on the cables over the gorge and there is not much there... about 10 inches of glowy exhaust pipes and that's it :-D maybe the warp drive is in there
shareWell there was definitely the burble of a regular gasoline engine. Plus, we see her filling it with gas. Then they pull the plugs to use in the Lycoming engine. But then there is that whine. I figured it was a blower (as in a Roots blower aka a supercharger). Those things whine pretty loud. And maybe it had an electric pre-boost, because it seems E could spool it up independent of engine speed at the start. Also, apparently, it had line-lock (apply the front brakes only, to light up the rears for a fast take-off). Cool orange screen never seemed to show anything but a dim orange glow. I was expecting maybe radar to drive fast in the dark but apparently that is best done "mostly by feel".
shareWow, i made this topic ages ago. And hell yeah that was a awesome Stang
