Melanie Griffiths last decent movie....
Cherry 2000 marks the end of Ms Griffith as a highly-rated cult actress, and the beginning of her descent into Hollywood schlock-dom starting with 'Working Girl"....discuss.

I loved her work in DePalma's "Body Double" (1984) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086984/.
sharei guess jazz thieve did get the first comment posted ....duh, but i agree with you mike i really didnt care for her to much in working girl or anything after the fact.
shareI agree with all, and it's a shame that Melanie Griffith thinks this is her worst movie. Well, according to John Waters on the commentary for Cecil.
shareNope -- loved her in Working Girl and LOVED her in Another Day in Paradise. If you haven't seen Another Day in Paradise, you should. It's amazing. However, she has done a lot of shlock. Wait -- I did like her in Nobody's Fool, also.
shareIt's the only roll I actually didn't mind Melanie Griffith in. Every other movie I see her in, I just want to tear her lips out. I don't know why, I just don't care for her.

Melanie Griffith is a beautiful woman and a great actress. "Cherry 2000" proves this hands down, she had major talent. Melanie Griffith in her prime puts many of this new crop of "young Hollywood" actresses to absolute shame!
