Come on, Warner Bros., just go for it! This is a Nicolas Roeg film. You know, Roeg? And it has one of Britain's biggest, greatest movie stars, the late Oliver Reed. It was a hit in Britain and it is much liked by many here in the states.
This fine little film deserves the DVD treatment. Just go for it!!
Surely it will turn up in the old "2 for £5" bucket no-frills DVD section soon.
A DVD release is essential for this film though. That way you can freeze-frame it when the delicious Amanda Donohoe takes her bikini off.
Yeah, totally. Even it is a bare-bones disc, I would easily pick it up. I wish Warner Bros. (or maybe even Criterion) would go for it. Dude, you have to let me know if it becomes available. If I find out first, I'll let you know.
And Amanda Donohoe is so luscious in this movie.
I cannot believe that this classic movie is not available on DVD anywhere at all! criminal! Oliver Reed puts in a great performance, Amanda is gorgeous (being mostly topless during it!) and the scenery is lush.. somebody please talk to the people that matter and give us castaway on DVD where it belongs!!
