Does anyone remember Bolo Yeung's birthday used to be listed as 1938?

I remember back in the early to mid 2000's, IMDB listed his birth year as 1938 and everyone was posting "He was 49/50 when this movie was filmed?!?! My God he looks incredible!!! Unbelievable what training can do to your body!!!"

And now his birthday was changed to 1946 recently, making him 41 at the time the movie was filmed, which sounds more reasonable.

Does anyone remember when it was listed as 1938?

I do remember actually. But even Wikipedia listed it as 1946. Maybe 1938 was a mistake.

Wikipedia says July 3, 1946 and IMDB says February 27, 1946.

Is he an American citizen? Lots of immigrants have information mixed up. My aunt has 3 different birthdays my cousin has different spelling of names. Some families with the same last name have different spellings.

Yeah but he could have moved to the states and his paperwork mixed up the date. My moms last name is spelled different then her cousins because some idiot translated spelled it different. My aunt for example has 3 different birth dates.
