Is This a Plot Hole? -- (Spoilers)
Isn't this a huge plot hole ... or did I miss something? In the final few scenes, Elizabeth McGovern and Steve Guttenberg concoct that plan to entrap the killer/rapist in order to catch him. When Elizabeth McGovern was in the bar, dressed and acting sexy, the killer/rapist peeks at her wallet in order to find out her address (so that he can go there to attack her). In peeking at the wallet, wouldn't the killer/rapist also see Elizabeth McGovern's NAME (not just her address) ... and realize that, geez, this is the same girl that I was on trial for attacking a week or so ago ... no? Her name was no secret to the killer/rapist. She even appeared and testified at his trial. And she was his accuser. I am sure the killer/rapist would be familiar with his victim's name, especially when there is a court trial. Then: obviously, the killer/rapist would recognize her name ... and put two and two together ... and realize that this was a set-up. (Why? Because he knew the girl victim was angry that he was found innocent at the first trial, where Steve Guttenberg's poor vision screwed up the State's case.) Realizing it was a set up, he would just take off and not indulge Elizabeth McGovern in her scheme. So, is this a big plot hole ... or am I missing something here? Thanks.
