Not too bad..
or is it ?
shareIt defiantly deserves a higher score than a 4. While it's not Bronson's best (and it was a bit slow), it had a decent plot and Charles Bronson's charm held everything together.
Because sponges never have bad days.
Boring Boring Boring...with Jill 'Your not Serious!' Ireland
(Quote From her role in Death Wish II)
I enjoy it, if i could the few things id change is give it a new score instead of using whats ripped off another film, and a decent editor. About 3 things that need re-editing, the ending where he pushed him out of window, just quickly cut to next scene, the bike scene showing a younger man, and toward the end where they all sat down when you see the boat then Charlie just moving about, it happened just so quickly. Bronson was a huge movie star like sly and for cannon to *beep* on him was bad of them, they must have known he never watched he's own movies or he woulda left from the start. He probably turned down bigger roles to work with cannon but i still love what he did as he's in it. But Charlie could gone on to do decent well rememebered movies like to live and die in la, to that effect. Some more gritty, with a good director.
shareI think Charles Bronson was a terrible actor, but he had a lot of charisma and screen presence.
Ireland was always horrible...good grief.
I THINK HAVE SEEN IT

I really enjoyed this movie! Despite not being a classical Bronson type film, it´s one of my favorites Bronson - Ireland movies!
Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.
I enjoyed it! Honestly, it's one of the weaker Bronson/Cannon films, but it was very entertaining.
Messenger of Death for example, had generally better acting but was easily the most boring Bronson movie I've ever seen.
What is it with Bronson/Cannon movies and Robert Axelrod?! (Terry Bruge-Hiplo!!)
I enjoyed it 8/10

I think it's not too bad. You could swap out Bronson with Clint Eastwood, as it feels kinda like a 'lite' Dirty Harry has been assigned to protect the First Lady.
Also made me think a lot of In the Line of Fire, a 1993 Eastwood film about protecting he President.
Jill Ireland makes a great pompous First Lady, however for me it's Jan Gan Boyd as Charlotte who plays the sleazy colleague. I just love the way she walks into Bronson's apartment and says, "Oh, are those pants coming off or going on?" and then is disappointed to find he's getting dressed to leave for work. She has great hair too!
Jan Gan Boyd was certainly cute!
