'American Werewolf in London' nod

Griffin Dunne, as the doctor in one of the sketches directed by Landis, mentions that a patient in the hospital (who isnt shown) has scabs all over his body, and motions his hand along his neck to describe the scabs. Dunne, in "American Werewolf in London", as the character "Jack", was in a hospital, was full of scabs: especially along the side of his neck where the doctor referred. Maybe it's a reach but... I think this could be a slight nod to "London", which starred Dunne and was directed by John Landis.

I heard there is a SYNW mention in the Pirate sketch...but never seen it myself.
Even more so, that one is not directed by John Landis...so why would it have a SYNW?

I really do not think there is one.

No he was not.

His character was a fresh kill and was shown with open wounds and cuts, no scabbing at all.

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.
