Jealous of Chris's hair

Even now that her hair is out of style, it still irritates me that she could flop around, dance around her room, hang her head upside down, yet her hair always remained flawless. Back then (even now) it took hours, many hot roller, a painful curling iron burns, and cans of hairspray to get an acceptable 80's hairstyle (or risk shunning). I realize now there was probably a professional stylist right behind the camera ready to touch it up between takes.

Yes! Those curls! The number of bad perms I got to try and emulate Elisabeth Shue's fabulous hair in this movie...

I forgot about those painful perms.

I know this is years later, but Elisabeth has super duper thick hair. Thick hair always a holds a curl or set, unlike thin or medium hair. I had friends with super duper thick hair who could ride in a convertible and sleep with a curl set, and it always stayed perfect for days even!
