after sue first got rescued from the mansion, how come they didnt give the pics to the cops then the drug dealers would have no reason to persue them.

They DID give the film to the cops. When the DEA shows up at their apartment the next morning he shows them the photos that were on the roll. Rico's motivation for wanting to kill them is, first Sue and Mick are both witnesses. Rico kidnapped Sue and attempted to blackmail Mick to get her back. They could both testify against him in court. Secondly Mick embarrased him in his own home. He wanted to kill Mick himself as revenge for disrespecting him. He says "Kill the girl, but leave Dundee. He is for me."

Rico should have been more concerned about the dea now armed with the photos...
In most Courts, Sue would be need to lay the foundation for admitting the films into evidence; i.e. who took them, when they were taken, how she received them, etc.
And by the way, dude, it's just a movie, it would have been a boring film without it!
Because Bob called the dea agent and told him about the pictures, Sue would not have to lay any foundation as Bob would be in a better position to do so.

One scene I can't stand in the movie is when those two other guys walk into the house and Mick & Sue hide behind the door. Then Mick and Sue walk out and everybody comes up to the two of them. The two other guys could of stepped out at that moment and shoot a few of them. (One guy in a pink blazer and the other guy in a black top)
Ricco could of easily have paid off the cops!
The DEA say he skipped town - so one of his goons must of helped him out - lets face it he couldn't of been knocked out long - only hit when door fell down!
Also the cops enter his compound illegally - so any arrest made would of been thrown out - no warrant, no case! The case of murder/drugs the DEA are after him for would still be processing etc - getting the photos, getting him locked up etc - but in meantime Ricco skips town!
