Was he using telepathy? (Possible spoiler.)

Was the character of Paul Hogan using telepathy with Sue Charlton in this movie? Allow me to explain where in the movie I mean:

Sue Charlton has been captured by drug dealers. Michael Dundee meets Brannigan (or whatever the spelling may be of his name) after having spoken to one drug dealer a little on the telephone. The drug dealer tells Michael Dundee to take the mail (with the photographs in it) to the train station or to the subway station. The drug dealer also instructs Michael Dundee to avoid letting someone follow Michael Dundee to the station.

Someone tries to follow Michael Dundee, but Michael Dundee makes the person "lose track" of Michael Dundee. For example, the man goes into the bathroom, but Michael Dundee finds him in there. The man was following Michael Dundee because Brannigan had sent him. Michael Dundee asks the man where Sue Charlton. The man does not know.

So, after having had that encounter in the subway/train station, Michael Dundee decides to go back where he was staying with Sue Charlton earlier in the movie. Another man/drug dealer tries to deal with Michael Dundee, this time by going to the apartment where Michael Dundee and Sue Charlton had been staying. Michael Dundee takes care of this drug dealer, and ties him right outside the apartment. Michael Dundee asks the drug dealer where Sue Charlton is, even to the point of cutting the rope a little while the drug dealer is hanging there.

Finally, Michael Dundee gets a response from the one drug dealer. It was Long Island, or it was something along those lines with Sue Charlton there. However, Brannigan and the and the one other man (the one man who had followed Michael Dundee before the subway/train station incident came) arrive. Those two men see the man hanging up there just outside the apartment. Michael Dundee needs to leave by using the one end of the rope, because the two other men (Brannigan and the other man) arrive in the apartment just as Michael Dundee is preparing to leave. Michael Dundee escapes by using the rope, going down part of the side of the building, and by entering another apartment.

Eventually, Michael Dundee is with Leroy Brown in the bar or in the restaurant. Leroy Brown mentions some things to Michael Dundee. For example, Drug Enforcement Agency, drugs, et ceter to Michael Dundee, and about how those things are hazardous to the health.

Leroy Brown and Michael Dundee go to where the drug dealers are staying. Michael Dundee asks something like "Why not call the cops?" Leroy Brown responds by saying "Guys like these own cops. Besides, even if the guys you call are straight, what are they going to do? With sirens blaring (et ceter), Sue Charlton will be dead in two seconds (from the drug dealers shooting her), if she is still alive," or something along those lines. I do not consciously remember each and every individual word Leroy Brown says to Michael Dundee perfectly, but it was something along those lines.

Michael Dundee claims to know (that) Sue Charlton is still alive. I do not know how he knows that with absolute certainty, but he says something about thinking about Sue Charlton or about sending Sue Charlton a "telepathic message" (or something along those lines). I do not consciously remember exactly what Michael Dundee says since I have not seen the movie so much in a while. However, I do remember it showing us Sue Charlton, and how Sue Charlton was moving her eyes strangely.

Others have told me in the past(that) Sue Charlton had moved her eyes strangely because Sue Charlton had been sensing something or had been sensing someone. They told me at least it had appeared to have been that way. Was Sue Charlton sensing something or someone? Was Michael Dundee using telepathy at the time, or was he only thinking about Sue Charlton, or something along those lines? What was happening?

Yes.

I'm aware that it's just a movie. There's no need to remind me.

No.

Maybe.

Not sure.

Totally amused by the answers here, but I will try and answer plainly.

Mick does not really know that Sue is still alive. He says, "That's the only way I can see her. Up here." Referring to how he thinks about or imagines her. He goes on to say, "If I get to thinking that she's hurt, my guts twist up, I can't think straight, then I'm no good to her."

Meaning if he begins to imagine things like her death, then he will be unable to pull off a rescue mission.

It does seem, however, that they 'sense' one another. especially in the next shot when she seems to feel his presence. I wouldn't go so far as telepathy, I just think the movie was hinting that they had a special connection.

You're wondering what is a place like me doing in a girl like this.

Just rewatched last night. He cupped his hands and made some sort of bird call noise from outside up in the tree. She is seen as noticing it faintly from her position at the dining room table. So that's how she knew he was around.
