NY to Australia on a private plane? Hmmm... (SPOILERS, obviously)

Plus, why would the Australian authorities let them into their airspace and into the country since they would be wanted by the NY authorities? Wouldn't they have alerted them to be on the lookout because Mick and Sue already were in Australia? Also, which criminal is stupid enough to venture into the outback to chase an Aussie? Seems like suicide to me.

I doubt you could take a private plane from New York to the Australian Outback.
What would happened was that, he flew to Australia, from New York, then catched a jet from the Australian city to the Outback.
