That's what I wanna know. Did Rico possibly buy off someone in the cops? Or, being that Mick was a celebrity of sorts, maybe it wasn't too hard a guess to figure out where he would take her. But does it ever say in the movie how they figured out where he was?
shareDoesn't say but my guess a rat in the police department informed because they doubled the price for info. Another possibility is that Mick wanted the info out so he could deal with them there so it was a designed leak.
shareMiguel seemed to have contacts in Australia. When their private plane lands they are greeted by them, become acquainted with Rico and help track down Dundee. They might've tipped off his whereabouts also.
