How did Rico etc escape from the police?

When Mick rescues Sue, from memory he leaves Rico, Miguel and everyone in the house unconscious and walks out the front door with Sue, where he is greeted by Leroy and the gang. Almost straight away the police arrive and Mick says "it's explanation time".

Now how did the bad guys wake themselves up, recover their injuries/sore heads, and escape quickly enough to flee the police who would presumably been all over that house on account they knew about Bob, Sue, Rico and the photos?

From the way Rico etc talk about the police and FBI, I think it's assumed they have insiders in all branches of law enforcement

Not to mention that the police responding would have no reason for arresting Rico.
